The Orange Line has always stopped short of serving some of the region’s most vibrant and fastest-growing communities. But it doesn’t need to. By converting the existing Needham commuter rail branch into an extension of the Orange Line, we can unlock a new era of connection and opportunity for thousands of people across Southwest Boston, MetroWest, and Metro South.MoveOLX is a new coalition of residents, workers, parents, and advocates working to make this vision real. We're committed to a future where all our communities have access to transit service every 6–10 minutes, all day long.
